A huge congratulations to Amy Veitch, our newly appointed Lead Representative on the PCIA Youth Council, she will be supported by Charlotte Vickery. Both Amy and Charlotte are part of the working group developing our own National Youth Council as we seek to improve how we know what Pony Club Members want. We are excited to see what 2022 brings for them and the PCIA.
Amy Veitch
Hi, I’m Amy and I have been a member of the Cumberland Farmers Hunt South branch since I was 4 (I’m now 21!). Over the years I’ve done all the Pony Club sports, including representing the branch in eventing, tetrathlon, quiz, mounted games and more! I’ve also been to champs, got my Gold Achievement Badge award and passed the ‘A’ Test. I now teach the little ones in my Pony Club at rallies and camp and train the mini horse and pony care teams. I try to make Pony Club as fun as possible for all ages so members get to experience the whole Pony Club journey just like I have!
Charlotte Vickery
My name is Charlotte Vickery, I am 21 years old and am a member of the Old Surrey and Burstow Pony Club and have been since I was 8, I have enjoyed taking part in a wide variety of disciplines, for example, Endurance, Mounted Games, Eventing, Show Jumping, Dressage and Polo. I am currently eventing at BE Novice. I am also studying Equestrian Sports Coaching at Hartpury University as well as working towards my PC A test and then my BHS coaching exams.
